The main area for the flamenco performance is the transformed warm water room, now an open courtyard. Around 10-15 seats are arranged around this space, providing a central view of the performance.

The galleries supported by eight columns in the "tepidarium" area provide additional seating. 

It's best to arrive early as the space is relatively small with around 10-15 seats.

The Arab Baths of Santa Maria were originally built during the Caliphate period in Cordoba. 

During the 14th century, the baths underwent reconstruction by Mudejar builders. In 1329, a new boiler was manufactured, and in 1524, repairs were carried out on the boiler using remains from the Arab baths of San Pedro.

Following the abandonment of its use as public baths, the Cabildo leased the baths as a neighborhood house. The oldest documented lease as a residence dates back to 1611.

In the 18th century, significant reforms were undertaken, including the conversion of the tepidarium into a courtyard, elevation of the original floor level, removal of columns, and the opening of a door to Velazquez Bosco street.

 The Arab Baths of Santa Maria were declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 2001 and are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the historic center of Cordoba.

The architecture of the Arab Baths of Santa Maria reflects the distinctive style of Hispano-Muslim design prevalent during the Caliphate period in Al-Andalus. It showcases a fusion of Islamic, Visigothic, and Mudejar influences

Throughout the baths, horseshoe arches are a prominent architectural feature. These arches are characteristic of Islamic architecture.

The baths are supported by columns with capitals ( top of the column ) adorned in Arabesque motifs, dating back to the Caliphal period. 

Despite the renovations in the 18th century the original architectural elements, such as the horseshoe arches and columns, remain intact.
